Responsibilities

  • Expertise - Collaborate with Acceldata field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use Acceldata Products.

  • Solutions - Deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers. This includes participating in pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer requirements, creating consulting proposals and creating packaged Acceldata Product led Big Data Solutions.

  • Delivery - Engagements include short on-site projects proving the use of Acceldata Products and services to support and enhance Big Data computing solutions that often span on-premise, private cloud and public cloud services. Engagements may include migration of existing applications and development of new applications.

  • Drive GTM activities across BUs and Vertical as part of Analytics Grow Units across the data to Insights value chain and drive initiatives as the SPOC/Go to consultant for the portfolio.

  • GTM activities involve creating proactive propositions jointly with respective vertical, Domain and other service lines stakeholders and digital team, proactive account mining and proposal response and defense for large opportunities.

  • Seamless embedment and integration of the portfolio themes into the overall solutions value propositions to the customer.

  • Create customer value propositions, proposal presentations and lead conversations in the respective portfolio and bring synergy along with other stakeholders.

  • You will be able to drive business decisions and press customers for requirements and to challenge current technology concepts

  • You will have experience in designing, building, evolving and rebuilding enterprise grade software.

  • You will have hands-on experience. This individual should be capable of single-handedly constructing solutions if time and expense were no issue.

  • You will have an interest in developing employees – have a track record of growing talent from within an organization

  • You will Participant in pre-sales activities – experience constructing SOWs, Change Orders, and have a working knowledge of invoicing

  • You will Experience forecasting project efforts and balancing commitments

Requirements

  • Development of proposals for implementation and design of scalable big data architecture

  • Participation in customer's workshops and presentation of the proposed solution

  • Design, implement, and deploy high-performance, custom applications at scale on Hadoop

  • Define and develop network infrastructure solutions to enable partners and clients to scale NoSQL and relational database architecture for growing demands and traffic

  • Define common business and development processes, platform and tools usage for data acquisition, storage, transformation, and analysis

  • Defend proposed solution

  • Review and audit of existing solution, design and system architecture

  • Perform profiling, troubleshooting of existing solutions

  • Create technical documentation

  • Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python or Ruby

  • Experience with major big data technologies and frameworks including but not limited to Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Oozie, Mahout, Flume, ZooKeeper, MongoDB, and Cassandra

  • Experience with big data solutions developed in large cloud computing infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services, Elastic MapReduce or Pivotal Cloud Foundry

  • Experience in client-driven large-scale implementation projects

  • Technical team leading and team management experience, deep understanding of Agile (Scrum), RUP programming process

  • Strong experience in applications design, development and maintenance

  • Solid knowledge of design patterns and refactoring concepts

  • Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis

  • Solid technical expertise & troubleshooting skills

  • Possess expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

  • Good exposure in BFSI space.

  • Ability to engage and lead the discussion with customer

  • Implementation experience on building Data Lake

  • Customer facing skills to represent Acceldata Products and Services well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment.

  • Highly technical and analytical, possessing 8+ years of IT platform implementation experience.
