We are looking for a seasoned ML Scientist who is able to understand customer needs along with any technical constraints, and be responsible for conceiving the product idea based on variety and amount of data we have available with us (in the BigData ecosystem), and then can translate them into product features leading to the success of our customers. The ML Scientist will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure that the initiative is adding value to our customers, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.
Work closely with the business to understand the problem space, identify the opportunities and formulate the problems.
Use machine learning, data mining, statistical techniques and others to create actionable, meaningful, and scalable solutions for the business problems.
Analyse and extract relevant information from large amounts of data and derive useful insights.
Work with software engineering teams to deliver production systems with your ML models
Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation
MS in Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or another related field who have led ML or Data Analytics team before.
8+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, predictive modelling and analysis.
Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
Experience in developing and delivering end-to- end solutions
Ability to deliver with limited guidance, working on problems that are not structured
Proficiency with data systems, ML Tools, and at least one programming language i.e. Python, Java and R
Experience with time series data is a plus
