Head of Product Marketing (Remote)

Work Type: Full Time

In this role, you will work with the marketing team, company executives, product management, and field sales and support to establish and execute Acceldata’s go-to-market strategy. This includes identifying and prioritizing market opportunities, positioning our platform and its capabilities, developing our marketing messaging, and driving the segmentation and targeting strategy.

This is a highly visible and strategic role working across the entire organization to position our products, promote awareness, increase demand, and create market leadership. To succeed in this role, you will need to be a multi-dimensional communicator who can work independently and collaborate successfully across all levels of the organization.

This position will report into the VP of Marketing and is a perfect role for an ambitious product marketer who seeks to help a fast-growing company achieve its tremendous potential working with a global team in a distributed environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product management to translate complex technologies into accessible, compelling stories that resonate with target audiences, including customers, analysts, press, partners, employees, and investors.
  • Launch new products, solutions and services to market, both internally through sales enablement, and externally through product content, thought leadership, customer success, demand programs support, press and analyst support and outreach
  • Build a world-class product marketing team that is recognized as experts in the data space and the data observability market segment.  Create and carry out a product marketing strategy that identifies target audience and buyer personas, refines positioning and messaging, and product launches.
  • Understand customer pains and requirements, competitive intelligence, and our products, services and solutions. Develop differentiated product messaging documents to describe the unique, tangible value people get from our products to boost demand and revenue for the product portfolio.
  • Establish processes to work systematically with Sales and Marketing to develop focused campaigns and sales plays to create scalable and repeatable go-to-market tactics.
  • Partner with the global demand and regional field marketing teams to design integrated campaigns that generate awareness and demand.
  • Provide guidance on content strategy and support content production related to the development of content assets that enable customers and prospects to easily understand value propositions, our product portfolio and why we are different than the competition
  • Promote and drive on-going analysis of the market, customer, products and solutions, competition, messaging, and overall customer adoption
  • Identify new growth areas, new technology, and emerging product/service opportunities
  • Develop a team of SMEs across the organization to support thought leadership and market positioning

Experience Requirements

  • 5-10 years of B2B software SaaS solutions marketing experience
  • 3+years of enterprise software startup experience
  • Successfully developed and executed product-led growth strategies
  • Successfully mastered and marketed complex software technologies, including experience with modern data infrastructure and technologies
  • Successfully defined customer go-to-market strategies (platform, solution, definition, packaging, pricing, and positioning) for emerging, product-oriented software companies is required
  • Create thought leadership marketing programs and assets
  • Comfortable working with sales leadership and field sales to support and enhance overall sales process

  • Excellent oral/public speaking and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information and concepts across a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated success in defining solutions and offers, sales enablement, and end-to-end execution of supporting marketing strategies
