Principal Product Manager (Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand user needs and use cases around data pipelines, data processing, and machine learning.

  • Devise, define, and communicate a product strategy for accelerating and modernizing our customers’ most critical data pipelines.

  • Guide our development teams to efficiently deliver new capabilities.

  • Educate and evangelize around new product capabilities to our worldwide go-to-market team and customer base.


Skills and Traits


  • 6+ years of experience as a B2B software product manager, with at least 2 years on a single product (so you’ve seen the effects of your decisions).

  • Understanding and hands-on experience with databases, data processing platforms, or machine learning platforms.

  • Strong track record of delivering products with cross-functional teams common to enterprise software industry (field engineering, sales, marketing, partnerships, etc.).

  • Entrepreneurial sense of ownership of the success of the product, with full ownership and accountability of outcomes.

  • Analytical skills to make data-driven decisions (e.g. analyze product usage)

  • Excellent communication skills to clearly and concisely communicate complex topics to diverse stakeholders (engineers, customers, etc.) in written and verbal form.

  • Creativity, tenacity, and drive to make an impact in a fast-growing startup.
